Star Fulfills Einstein’s Prediction

Albert Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity predicted that when an object nears something with incredible gravitational pull, it takes on a reddish hue.

Known as redshift, this phenomenon was observed in laboratories but never in nature.

Recently, scientists observing the S2 star which traces a 26-year elliptical orbit around the massive black hole in the center of our galaxy noticed it undergoing the redshift Einstein predicted as it drew near the black hole.
