SCRANTON, PA — Tefillos are being requested for Rav Yaakov Schnaidman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Bais Moshe of Scranton, who was admitted to the hospital after experiencing shortness of breath.
Yeshiva Bais Moshe informed alumni, parents and friends of the yeshiva of Rav Schnaidman’s hospitalization, asking the tzibbur to be mispallel for his complete recovery.
Rav Schnaidman has served for decades at the helm of Yeshiva Bais Moshe, one of America’s longstanding yeshivos. Together with Rav Chaim Bressler, Rav Schnaidman established the yeshiva in Scranton in 1965. Both were talmidim of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l and sought to establish a makom Torah that would transmit the mesorah and derech halimud they had absorbed from their rebbi.
The name for Tehillim is Rav Yaakov ben Chana.
