Two police officers have been seriously injured in terror attack at Shaar Shechem in the Old City of Yerushalayim.
The officers were the targets of at least one Arab gunman, who fired on a police vehicle driving along Salah a-Din Street. The Arab, who was wielding a Carl Gustav sub-machine gun, was shot dead after a chase.
Both injured officers, ages 30 and 45 respectively, were taken to the hospital, one to Hadassa and one to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center. One was undergoing resuscitation efforts during the transport.
This incident took place just minutes after an Israeli was moderately hurt in a terror stabbing in Petach Tikva.
