Lach Yerushalayim, an organization dedicated to asserting Jewish control over the capital, complained to Israel Hayom that a cemetery near Herod’s Gate where terrorists were buried over the past year has become a gathering place for radicals and a Palestinian monument. Palestinian flags flutter on its walls and families place flowers on the graves and take photos of themselves in their proximity.

Particularly popular is the grave of Baha Alyan, who, together with another terrorist, killed three bus passengers last year.

“It is inconceivable that [Alyan’s] father plans to attend a rally in memory of a terrorist,” Lach Yerushalayim head, Maor Tzemach complained. “It is inconceivable that the family of Alyan is leading a campaign to raise funds to rebuild terrorists’ homes in Yerushalayim. It is inconceivable that the family will appear in educational settings in Yerushalayim and speak about their son’s legacy. It is inconceivable that the family turns again and again to the High Court and claims they were wronged. Unfortunately, the Alyan family continues its incitement against Israel instead of being ashamed of their killer son. The Alyans should be banished from the city.”
