The Masmidei HaShabbos program is in full swing, and the feedback has been overwhelming. Over 25,000 students in over 150 schools have received the booklets. In addition, thousands of families have downloaded their free copies of the Masmidei HaShabbos or Shabbos Malkisa books, and have found that it has brought a higher level of enjoyment and peace to their Shabbos tables.
The schools who are involved have shared the incredible feedback they’ve been receiving from their parent bodies, with comments such as “Our Shabbos table was on fire this week! Yitzy came home and didn’t stop telling over things he had read from the new initiative. I never saw him like this. He was dominating the seudah and wouldn’t let us bentch until he found Kah Echsof!”

The beauty of this six week program is it teaches children and families the beauty of Shabbos through what you can do on Shabbos, instead of focusing on what you cannot. Emphasizing the kedusha and joy in an easy to understand way, the booklets are not only engaging, they are also interactive. Families are encouraged to learn together, complete the missions, take the quiz and enter to win prizes and so much more.
Exciting raffles will be conducted each week, with a grand raffle prize of two tickets to the Maamad Kedushas HaShabbos. Children are encouraged to read the material and discuss it with their families, as well as sing the songs that are in the booklet and answer some questions each week. Children can enter the raffles by calling the hotline and following the instructions on how to enter.
