Three IDF Soldiers Killed in Battle in Gaza

An IDF spokesperson confirmed that three IDF soldiers were killed in Gaza on Friday.

Sergeant Dolev Malka, Sergeant Inon Itzhak, and Sergeant Afik Tery met their fate in combat in southern Gaza during the recent skirmishes.

These soldiers served in various capacities within the IDF, with affiliations to Battalion 450 of the Bislach Brigade and the Nachshon Battalion (90) of the Kfir Brigade.

In recognition of their bravery and service, all three soldiers were posthumously elevated from the rank of Corporal to Sergeant.

Sergeant Dolev Malka, 19, hailed from the town of Shlomi in northern Israel; Sergeant Inon Itzhak, 20, originated from Mitzpe Ramon in the southern region; and Sergeant Afik Tery, aged 19, hailed from Rechovot.

“The IDF extends its heartfelt condolences to the families and pledges unwavering support during this difficult time,” said the IDF.

Additionally, a platoon commander along with four other soldiers from Battalion 450 sustained severe injuries during the clashes in southern Gaza. Furthermore, nine additional soldiers incurred varying degrees of injuries in the line of duty.
