A major community-wide kinnus for men and women of the Boro Park community on behalf of Reb Sholom Mordechai ben Rivka Rubashkin will be held tonight, as the sentencing hearings continue today, with final sentencing expected in 3-4 weeks.
Tonight’s atzeres tefillah will be held at Agudas Yisroel Zichron Moshe of Boro Park, which is led by Rav Eliezer Horowitz and located at 1561 50th Street in Boro Park, Brooklyn.
A minyan for Maariv will take place at 9:15 p.m. The program will follow, with remarks from the Novominsker Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Perlow; Rav Avrohom Schorr, rov of Kehal Tiferes Yaakov of Flatbush; Rav Pinchos Lipschutz, publisher of Yated Ne’eman who has spearheaded the effort to assist Reb Sholom Mordechai; and Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zweibel of Agudas Yisroel of America.
Tonight’s event follows similar gatherings held in Monsey, Chicago, Flatbush, Lakewood and elsewhere.
Tehillim will then be said in unison.
