Two top travel aides for Vice President Kamala Harris have decided to leave their posts in the coming weeks.

Karly Satkowiak, the director of advance, and Gabrielle DeFranceschi, the deputy director of advance, will depart, Harris’s office confirmed to the Washington Examiner.

Their departures were long-planned, an unnamed spokeswoman for Harris said.

Advance workers plan the vice president’s travel and work with teams to prepare venues for Harris’s arrival. The administration reportedly put out a call for “advance associates,” unpaid volunteers who will help manage the vice president’s travel.

  1. The White House travel office controversy, sometimes referred to as Travelgate, was the first major ethics controversy of the Clinton administration. It began in May 1993, when seven employees of the White House Travel Office were fired. This action was unusual because executive-branch employees usually remain in their posts for many years (even though they can be terminated by, and serve at the pleasure of, the president).

    • Well, if they fire Fauci, that would free up an additional 400,000+ salary that Emhoff can direct towards any advisers.

  2. Why would any sane human be interested in volunteering to help this witch with her travel. I can think of many more worthy endeavors
