It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the tragic passing of Mr. Martin Weisman z”l of the Five Towns in a snorkeling incident in Aruba.
Marty seemingly sustained a heart attack while snorkeling and ultimately passed away.
Marty was the co-owner of Ezra Pharmacy and a long time Five Towns resident. Marty was always mild-mannered and cared for his customers, ensuring that their necessary medications were delivered at all hours of the day. During the heat of the Covid epidemic, he opened his pharmacy to the Covid vaccines and testing, patiently waiting for each patient who waited on line for service.
A resident of Dickens Street in Woodmere, Marty is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rochel Weisman, and father of Esty Weisman, Aviva Berkowitz, Dovid Weisman, and Samuel Weisman, step–father to Lauren Glicksman, and brother of Joey Weisman.
The levayah will be held on Sunday morning at Boulevard-Riverside Chapels, located at 1450 Broadway in Hewlett, NY.
Shiva will be at the Weisman residence: 861 Dickens Street, Woodmere, through Friday afternoon. The family requests no vistors between the hours of 12:00pm-1:00pm and 6:00pm-7:00pm.
