It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Shterna Sara Federman a”h, the 4-month-old daughter of Rabbi Asher and Henya Federman of the Virgin Islands. She tragically passed away from a drowning accident that took place on Tuesday night.
The Federmans were with some of their children near the ocean in S. Thomas when the baby slipped into the water. Mrs. Federman immediately jumped into the water, trying desperately to save her baby. Mrs. Federman got stuck underwater and people nearby helped pull her out and worked for a long time to resuscitate her. She is currently on life-support and was transferred via special medical transport to Miami.
Umacha Hashem dimah me’al kol ponim.

Cute kids. That’s so sad. What’s the mother’s name?
Henya bas Bracha Devorah Lea
Refuah sheleima
Adorable family, KAH. May the mother have a refuah sheleimah.
Henya bas Brocha Devorah Leah
She is a mother of 13 children
How does a 4-month old, who doesn’t crawl or really move around much, “slip into water”?! Refuah shelaima to the mother
This story wreaks from
Faul play. The marina was a mile and a half from their house and it was dark already their hat were they doing there. And the contradictions are huge. Claims the husband jumped in are on the jewish sites but not what is being claimed on the island. There is no reports of them pulling the husband wife and daughter. Just mother and eventually daughter. Something is wrong here
