The body of Reb Yisroel Kessous z”l, of Elad, was found on Shabbos in the Kinneret after he had been reported missing.
He was 23.
Reb Yisroel grew up in Ramat Shlomo, Yerushalayim, a son of R’ Chaim and Rochel Kessous.
As a bochur, he learned at Yeshiva Yakirei Yerushalayim in Yerushalayim and then at Yeshiva Torah Betifarta in Elad.
He was an outstanding young ben Torah, a masmid who was loved by all his friends and excelled in his vodas Hashem and bein adam lachaveiro.
After his marriage three years ago, he began learning in Rav Katzav’s kollel in Elad.
He leaves behind his wife and a little daughter who is just one year old.
The levayah and kevurah were held tonight on Har Hamenuchos.
