A judge on Thursday dismissed a legal challenge by President Donald Trump’s campaign in a dispute over whether enough Republican observers were allowed to watch the handling of Michigan absentee ballots.

Judge Cynthia Stephens noted the lawsuit was filed Wednesday afternoon, just hours before the last ballots were counted.

“As of this point, the essence of the count is completed,” said Stephens, who added that the lawsuit also appeared to target the wrong official over local election issues.

The Associated Press called the Michigan race for Democrat Joe Biden on Wednesday evening.

  1. Michigan turned out not to be all that close. He lost by 145,000 votes. Maybe supporting armed racist thugs who seize control of a state house isn’t the best campaign message.

    • Charlie the Commie 6:10pm, not 145,000 “votes”, but 145,000 fake ballots. Besides, it is your Democratic party that has always supported the racists, from KKK to BLM – just to divide and conquer. Stop spewing your manipulative baloney, you traitor.

      • Not fake ballots. Every mail in ballot in Michigan was requested by a legal registered voter. Each ballot received was tracked to the requesting voter before it was opened and counted. Your man has lost; don’t be a sore loser.

Oh and the KKK had lots of Republican support. In 1924, Calvin Coolidge sought KKK support, and Republicans elected KKK governors in Colorado and Indiana. Racism was a bipartisan operation back in those days. Only from 1936 to 1960 did the Republicans have a better civil rights record. Barry Goldwater, George H. W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan all openly opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and Richard Nixon welcomed the southern racist Democrats into the Republican Party with enthusiasm. The case of Nixon was really sad because he didn’t hate black people and up through the 1960 election had had a good civil rights record.

Regarding BLM, I have been calling out their national leadership since 2014. The person they have identified as their inspiration is the convicted murderer of a New Jersey police officer now living as a fugitive in Cuba. Fortunately they have now eliminated the anti-Semitic anti-Israel junk from their platform but they still have a lot of other nutty stuff there.

        • Dear Charlie the Commie 11:36am, stop manipulation and lies – the worst kind of a lie is the one that has some truth inserted for the camouflage. The non-diluted truth is that it was the progressives in the beginning of the 20th century that were the pro racism(hello KKK), pro Mussolini’s fascism, pro Stalin’s communism, and pro eugenics(hello abortion movement). The progressives were at home in the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party’s official platform basically matched the progressive ideology. Even if there were some individual Republican politicians who were opportunistic RINOs(I guess Bushes McCain and Romney weren’t the first) – that doesn’t change the fact that the mainstream Republican Party ideology was anti the-progressives and anti their racist fascism, while the official Democratic Party’s ideology was proudly racist and totalitarian. You just can’t compare the two, if you have an ounce of integrity. Even more disingenuous on your part is to accuse the Republican Party of exactly what the Democratic Party is guilty of. By the way, I don’t believe that the Democratic Party somehow reformed and magically became non-racist: it was always about “divide and conquer” – therefore it’s irrelevant to the manipulative Democratic Fascists whether they support the white KKK flavor or the black BLM flavor racism, as long as they can artificially divide the population and rule the dumb masses.

  2. Headline is very misleading. Sounds like he lost legal challenge everywhere when actually the article is only referring to the state of Michigan
