So much for that ultimatum. The Ukrainian government is preparing to withdraw all military personnel from the region of Crimea, after Russia announced it had annexed the state on Tuesday and pro-Russian forces took over the Ukrainian naval headquarters.
Meanwhile, Ukraine decided to withdraw from the former-Soviet commonwealth of states and Russia announced it could change its stance in the Iranian nuclear negotiations in response to sanctions from the U.S. and European Union. Read more at The Wall Street Journal.
