Furious anti-vax parents in New York this week are posting memes and images of sad children — and have shown up in person to protest the governor — because a new law prohibiting unvaccinated children from attending school went into effect.
The mandate, enacted in June, “prohibits a school from permitting any child to be admitted to such school, or to attend such school, in excess of 14 days without sufficient evidence that the child has received all age appropriate required vaccinations,” according an official publication from the New York Department of Health, Office of Children and Family Services, and the State Education Department.
Those 14-day grace periods started expiring this week, which meant school officials barred students from going to class or began removing them from schools, to be picked up by their parents. (To be clear, the students could return to school if their parents had them vaccinated.)
State health officials told BuzzFeed News that 26,217 unvaccinated New York children in public schools, private schools, parochial schools, daycare centers, and prekindergarten programs claimed religious exemptions during the 2017–18 school year. New York ended religious exemptions for vaccines in June, following the worst measles outbreaks the state had seen in decades.

It is a terrible law. I vaccinate my kids and b”h no negative impact but there are people who had very bad experiences with older kids who were vaccinated. Medical exemption is only given for a child who is very sick and not at all for siblings.
No one wants the government to decide for them when they r sick enough not to get a vaccine…this is the same Albany who now permits abortion/murder until birth (and if allowed a few hours before birth, then what is their cut off for the right to murder? birth? a few minutes after??)…no one wants the government to decide for us when it is a sakana to vaccinate and when not…and as yidden we should oppose all such laws that take away our freedom to follow our rabbonim and halacha about our medical options…Moreover, NYS is trying to mandate vaccines that are not necessary in our community…chas vashslom thay we all should be forced to vaccinate our kids with poison for sicknesses that have nothing to do with our tzibur. This is a slippery slope and askanim should get involved…for all these kids now…but also to ensure that we prevent any damage for the tzibur
How about a meme with the caption, “Not every child needs to be vaccinated,” and a picture of a iron lung? With a young occupant?
It is kind of ironic that measles vaccine is a target and polio, smallpox, and other eradicated diseases are not. No guarantee that an “eradicated” disease won’t make a comeback. Wonder how good these anti-vaxxers are at LOTTO or Mega millions?
Vaccines are modern day idols. Believe its flawless and unquestionable.

Time to lock up Anti-Vaxxers for child abuse.
Time to lock up illiterates for injuring their children knowingly when they are aware that vaccine injury is the only thing in the US courts that no one can sue for damages.
They can’t sue you people who are stupid either.

It’s not going to end with the removal of the religious exemption. California just took away the medical exemption, leaving thousands of medically fragile children without protection from mandatory vaccination. Previously vax injured children will be forced to vaccinate under this new law. Siblings of vaccine injured or killed will be forced to vaccinate. If you think it’s just kids issue, think again because they will be mandating the adult immunization schedule in order to get a job, license, or get on an airplane. You may agree with the 16 vaccines we give our kids but there are over 270 vaccines waiting FDA approval. Is there any vaccine you would want to have a choice on? Do your kids really need a vaccine for the common cold, acne or aids? This is leading down a very dangerous path.
To me it’s sad that parents hear arguments but rather then do their own research they hold their fingers in their ears and cover their eyes to block it all out because people don’t want to do what’s difficult.

Read the ingredients and adverse reactions
Read the Gov initiated site of adverse reaction reporting called vaers.
Read the research from Harvard reporting that only less then 1% of adverse reactions are actually reported to vaers.
Look up the 1986 act that does not allow vaccine makers to be held liable. You are basically allowing your child to be tested on without being able to sue the company if your child dies or gets very ill.
Look up the testing protocol for vaccine safety.
Then use your brains. Make demands from the gov. Let vaccines be safe before you agree to use them on your children as Guinea pigs.
And stop cursing out those people who did do the research just because you want to keep your eyes and ears covered.
