Mrs. Federman passed away at the age of 40 on Wednesday, Feb. 8 (17 Shevat), after battling for her life for more than two months in the aftermath of a St. Thomas water accident that claimed the life of her 4-month-old daughter, Shterna. Pulled out of the water and resuscitated after attempting to save her baby, Federman was flown first to Florida and then to Lakewood, NJ for emergency care. During the time that she lay hovering between life and death, countless people around the world increased in Torah, Tefilla, and Tzedaka in her merit.

Rachmanim Bnei Rachmanim:

The Federman family dedicated their lives to serving Jewish locals and thousands of visitors with Torah and Ahavas Yisroel. As the Federman family reels from this unimaginable tragedy, Klal Yisroel must unite together to provide for their financial security. HaShem will certainly give Rabbi Asher Federman and his 12 beautiful young children the strength to weather this storm. Let us do our part to ensure they are cared for by acheinu bnei yisroel.
