Photos: Lakewood Rita’s Opens and Gives Free Ice to Lakewood Police, Hatzalah, and Bikur Cholim

Lakewood Rita’s located in the center of Lakewood on Rt. 9 opened today and celebrated that by showing its support by offering free Custard and Ice to Lakewood law enforcement thanking them for all they do.

Tomorrow, Lakewood Rita’s will offer free ice to any EMS, Lakewood Hatzolah, and Bikur Cholim volunteers and their immediate families.

Jackson Rita’s located on County Line Road is expected to open this Thursday.

Ezzy Katz, a well-known Lakewood real estate agent, addressed the Lakewood police today in attendance on behalf of the Lakewood Rita’s and said this past year with Covid-19 it was extremely hard on first responders and Rita’s is happy to take part and show its appreciation.

Shea Spiegel and Efraim Feder, two of Lakewood’s popular real estate agents, also graced the event and expressed their appreciation that Rita’s corporate recognized the need to cater to the higher kosher standards of the Lakewood community.

Lakewood and Jackson Rita’s are unique in the sense that Cholov Yisroel is available upon request for the whole line of Rita’s products including their famous Gelati’s, Blendini’s, Mistos, and Concretes.

Both locations are under the strict supervision of a longtime Lakewood Rov, Rabbi Baruch Ber Yoffe.

This year in response to the growing frum community in Toms River, the Toms River Rita’s joins the suite of Rita’s stores under Rabbi Yoffe’s hashgacha.
