Last night, the wedding of Shneur Kotler, a son of Rav and Rebbetzin Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ, was held at Lake Terrace Hall in Lakewood.
The kallah, Miriam Baddouch, is a daughter of Rav and Rebbetzin Shmuel Baddouch, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ohr Yosef of Mexico.
The wedding was a joyous simcha for the greater Beth Medrash Govoha community and the Torah world at large, with rabbonim, roshei yeshiva, askanim and friends traveling from near and far to participate.
The simcha began with a kabbolas ponim at about 5 p.m. The chupah was schedule for 5:45 p.m.
The mesader kiddushin was Rav Yonason David, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Pachad Yitzchok in Yerushalayim.
At the chupah, the eidei kiddushin were Rav Elya Ber Wachtfogel, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah of South Fallsburg, and Rav Yosef Mermelstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Novominsk.
The honor of reading the kesubah was given to Rav Dovid Mykoff, zaide of the kallah.
Among those who recited brachos under the chupah were Rav Zev Tikotzky, zaide of the chosson; Rav Chaim Dov Keller, rosh yeshiva of Telshe Yeshiva in Chicago; Chacham David Choueka of Mexico; Rav Yitzchok Yechiel Ehrenfeld, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Bais Shmuel in Yerushalayim; Rav Yosef Rabinowitz, rov of K’hal Zichron Aryeh Leib in Flatbush and uncle of the kallah; and Rav Uren Reich, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah of Woodlake Village and uncle of the chosson.
Music at the wedding, produced by Shloime Friedman Orchestra, was performed by the talented duo, brothers Avrumi Berko on keyboard and singer Shea Berko, who were accompanied by Alex Sofer on trumpet and Simon on saxophone.
