For the first time in 80 years, last year, Beth Medrash Govoha did not host a mesibas Purim due to Covid-19. This year, the BMG mesibah returned in all its glory.

And according to attendees, it was as special and invigorating as ever.

Hundreds upon hundreds of people gathered at Beth Medrash Govoha’s Bais Aron in Lakewood, NJ, for the Purim mesibah on the first night of Purim, Motzoei Taanis Esther. The gathering was an uplifting one, with beautiful singing and divrei Torah from the roshei hayeshiva, Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler and Rav Yeruchem Olshin.

This year, the celebration began with a learning seder at the Bais Yitzchok and Bais Shalom botei medrash, followed by the mesibah at 10:45 in the Bais Aron Bais Medrash, with music directed by Shloime Friedman and singing led by Mishpachas Brodt.
