i24 News – Yerushalayim police arrested at least two Palestinians after clashes broke out at the Har Habayis on Tuesday, the second day of Rosh Hashanah and the second straight day of violence there.

Dozens of Palestinians rioted in East Jerusalem on Monday night, hurling rocks, stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli security forces.

Israel Border Police deployed riot dispersal measures to quell the disturbances.
Earlier on Monday, 14 Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem were arrested at the Har Habayis for rioting.

“Israel’s police will continue to act with determination and with zero tolerance towards violence of any kind, violations of public order, and any attempt to harm police officers or civilians,” the police said.

Israel is on high alert during the Yomim Noraim.
