A member of the Rockland County, NY, frum community says his image was used on social media by Robert Bowers, the shooter in the Pittsburgh synagogue attack. Mr. Yossi Gestetner says that in April 2016, before the New York primary, he arranged an event at Trump Tower with then-candidate Donald Trump and Jewish media outlets. Someone took a picture of Gestetner and Trump at the event. “Some bigots, some anti-Semite, some haters put up that post and memed it, saying, ‘The Jews are controlling President Trump,’” Gestetner says. Gestetner says Bowers reposted the image on one of his social groups.
