The New York International Auto Show is a popular Chol Hamoed trip destination, with many people converging on the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan for the event, which returned this week for the first time since Covid.
One frum family passed a booth for the Marines at the show when a friendly competition of sorts broke out as to who could perform more pushups.
The chassidishe father, tzitzis flying and all, got on all fours and began doing pushups to the amazement of the Marines and all onlookers.
So who won the competition?
See for yourself:
Cute! I lost weight just watching it!
Impressive. The chosid clearly won. He must go to the gym or work in a job with heavy lifting. I don’t know how he pulled that off. Did he get one of those free water bottles with the Marine Corps logo on it?
What a Kiddush Hashem!
It’s not fair! He had his talis katan on, which acts like a parachute or sail, catching the wind and propelling him.
Just kidding, of course.
How did you post an emoji next tonyour name
Sign him up.
What a chillul Hashem and to do it with tashmishei kedusha. Then to have his talis kotten removed.
Get over it.
may he is from shevet Gad who have strong arms.
Or related to Popeye the Sailor Man.
Great work by the chossid.
But the marine was just playing with him.
He was doing one-footed push-ups vs the chossid’s two-footed (try it some time, to see how hard that is) and even with that, was only playing along, to make the whole thing more entertaining.
Nice job by the chossid, though.l
