In an exclusive video obtained by PIX11 News, a Jewish teen can be seen crossing a Brooklyn intersection when a man suddenly hurls forward at him and starts throwing punches. Seconds later, a man in a nearby delivery truck can be seen jumping out and rushing to help the teen.

I’ve been hit, threatened, punched, beaten up, pushed, cursed at, robbed, had things such as raw eggs and rocks thrown at me, been targeted by an antisemitic coworker, been targeted with snide antisemitic comments by total strangers in streets and stores, had my yarmulka snatched off of my head, and other incidents countless times starting from when I was about six years old walking home from my corner bus stop, all for being a frum Jew.
It never gets the level of attention that hate crimes against other groups get, but it’s a fact of life for me, my peers in yeshiva, and sadly nowadays too if you’re visibly Jewish.
A big “Tizku lemitvos” to that truck driver for unhesitatingly springing into action and protecting the kid from the vicious attacker.
