Singer Ishai Ribo arrived at Tel Hashomer Hospital last Chanukah to make the children happy in the various wards. There, he first met Daniel Kadish and realized that he was a special child, a boy with tremendous chein.
At a recent concert at the Shoni Amphitheater, Ishai called up special guest: Daniel.
Ishai explained to the crowd that he had first met Daniel when he was in the throes of illness, a nine-year-old battling a dreaded disease. A young boy who had finished Shisha Sidrei Mishnah. And a young boy, who in the hospital, sang so beautifully with Ishai and with Amir Aliyev.
Ishai realized that this was no ordinary child.
Boruch Hashem, Daniel has been in advanced recovery for some time. May he continue to be blessed with health and strength.
Ishai closed a circle of sorts when he called Daniel up to the stage to perform with him. There was not a dry eye in the room…
