C.rab, they certainly did not parade through the streets. The weddings were done quietly in people’s living room. How do I know ? Because that’s how my grandparents got married during the war. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Simchas yom tov can be celebrated in ones private home. Having music trucks paraded through the streets shows a lack of sensitivity to the hundreds of families mourning their losses
