Upon hearing Dick Morris’s assessment of the Trump indictment on Thursday, specifically that the indictment will give the latter a tremendous lift in the polls, Mr. Trump announced his intention to hire Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg as his top campaign strategist.
“Alvin’s ability to boost my poll numbers in such a short period of time is incredible!” Mr. Trump said. “He’s just the guy I’m looking for to be my chief campaign strategist!”
Upon hearing Mr. Trump’s comments, Mr. Bragg told reporters: “I’d love to be Mr. Trump’s top campaign strategist, but he’s got to pay me well, and he’s got to give me a top cabinet position in his administration, plus a post presidential job in his real estate business, otherwise I’m out.”
