Rav Gershon Edelstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Ponovezh, remarked tonight: “Now during bein hazemanim, there have been several tragedies, in a strange way, unusual disasters. It’s something incomprehensible. Many people lost their lives. Apparently, during bein hazemanim we are missing the zechus haTorah. Woe is to us.”
