By most conventional indicators, Donald Trump is in danger of becoming a one-term president. The economy is a wreck, the coronavirus persists, and his poll numbers have deteriorated.
But interviews with more than 50 state, district and county Republican Party chairs depict a version of the electoral landscape that is no worse for Trump than six months ago — and possibly even slightly better. According to this view, the coronavirus is on its way out and the economy is coming back. Polls are unreliable, Joe Biden is too frail to last, and the media still doesn’t get it.
“The more bad things happen in the country, it just solidifies support for Trump,” said Phillip Stephens, GOP chairman in Robeson County, N.C., one of several rural counties in that swing state that shifted from supporting Barack Obama in 2012 to Trump in 2016. “We’re calling him ‘Teflon Trump.’ Nothing’s going to stick, because if anything, it’s getting more exciting than it was in 2016.”
This year, Stephens said, “We’re thinking landslide.”

Trump cannot help getting in his own way. He would have this election in hand if he would only stop tweeting. He says stupid, inflammatory things when he tweets that just make it so much harder for him. If he would only be quiet, the Democrats are doing a great job of getting him re-elected.
he tweeted before he was elected in 16 and he will tweet after he’s elected in 20. He is a genius. He realized the old politically classy and correct republican way wasn’t a language the dems understand. He understands that social media is a huge way of getting to the masses. He also knows the media wouldn’t air what he really means. He is indeed winning with a landslide. His tweeting did him a lot of good. The only people turned off are democrats. The rest get the real news. He never had anything to loose.

However, if he loses, G-D help us. I dare say, that he will not go quietly following a peaceful transfer of power to the incoming Administration. In all probability, the Army will have to escort him out of the White House!!

He doesn’t only disagree with your narrative; he says it loud and clear without fear. And that triggers all of you……. He has made america great again. You tried destroying it strategically the past few months; he’s a genius. He’s waiting it out until you guys begin killing each other which is already happening. Have the country see; even those that were once dems and were business owners.. what their party has caused. And the entire majority and silent majority of americans will vote him in. If in 2016 he won 81% according to the NYT, we can easily expect him to win in the 90s whenever the next election will be. There will be no election this year though because there are no Democrat candidates running. Clones and doubles will drop out of the race as they cannot become president.
