White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby agreed that the conflict between Israel and the Hamas terror group represents a battle with “evil.”

In a briefing held today, Kirby was questioned about the nature of the conflict, whether it constituted a struggle between good and evil. His response affirmed, “there’s no question that Hamas is evil.”

He emphasized his stance, stating, “You can’t read that manifesto and not think that this is a terror organization with truly genocidal inclinations against Israel and the Israeli people. What they did on the seventh of October — you cannot look at anything from that day and not come away believing that this group is evil.”

Kirby refrained from characterizing Israel as “good” and abstained from making moral judgments regarding the nation.

Additionally, the spokesperson for the National Security Council declared forthcoming measures, stating the US’s intention to levy “additional sanctions on Iran in the coming days” due to Iran’s arms transactions with Russia. He also issued a warning of further sanctions if Iran engages in ballistic missile sales.

While Kirby remarked, “We have not seen any confirmation that missiles have actually moved from Iran to Russia,” he cautioned, “we have no reason to believe that they will not follow through.”

Assuring a resolute response, he affirmed, “I can assure you that the response from the international community will be swift and it will be severe,” pledging, “We will implement additional sanctions against Iran and we will coordinate further response options with our allies and partners in Europe and elsewhere.”
