  1. Boruch dayan emes.
I’m sure that to his many friends and family this is not even scraping the tip of the iceberg, but his wit, thoughtfulness and humor were the reason most FJJ readers I know turned to the “Letters” section to read his latest submission before they read anything else.
    Yehi zichroi boruch.

  2. BORUCH DAIYAN HAEMES!!

Is the Nifter from the same Zweig family as, Yibodel L’Chaim, Rav Yochanan Zweig, Sh’lita, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva & Kollel Beis Moshe Chaim in Miami? Also, what about, Yibodel L’Chaim, a R’ Yechezkel “Chezky” Zweig, Sh’lita, who was a dormitory counselor in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel in Baltimore and a counselor in Camp Munk in the 1970’s?

He will be greatly missed by many who did not know him personally. His commentary and opinions communicated, often quite humorously, in the FJJ Letters section were worthy of a proper column. It was the first thing I looked for each week.

  4. Can’t believe that you are gone Rocky. We used to get together at the Jewelry show in Vegas every June with your cousin Duvy Moskowitz. I especially remember June 2001 at the Haifa restaurant in Vegas. You sang Shlomo’s old Mimkomcha at the top of your lungs for Shlomo Katz who was in Vegas from LA to celebrate his 21st birthday. You were a big neshama! ברוך דיין האמת.
