At the end of a hearing in the Jerusalem District Labor Court, the court accepted the request of Jerusalem Light Rail’s management for an injunction against the strike that Light Rail drivers and the Histadrut planned for today.
The injunction is for a week, until November 16.
The judge ordered the sides to conduct expedited negotiations during this period. “The gaps are not wide, and therefore it’s worth giving another push to the negotiations rather than creating s further difficulty at this stage for the residents of Jerusalem,” the judge said.
