DOJ: Police Must Report Shooting Deaths

The Department of Justice is set to introduce a new program that would require police departments to provide the DOJ with full details of deadly altercations involving officers each quarter.

Federal officials would start to verify fatal cases prior to seeing them reported voluntarily. The new system would replace a discredited prior counting method by the FBI. Read more at THE GUARDIAN.
