A local Milwaukee, Wisconsin, bank is giving away up to $30,000. Please read on and respond on behalf of our Yeshiva Elementary School in this contest.
During the famous trial of Mendel Beilis in 1913, Rav Meir Shapiro zt”l submitted a letter to the court in which he explained the famous Chazal of “Atem kruyim adam.” Only Klal Yisroel is referred to by that specific word, meaning man. Rav Meir noted that the Hebrew word adam is the only word for man which has only a singular form even when referring to a plurality of men. The reason for this is that Klal Yisroel is always one, and what affects one individual impacts on the entirety of our nation as a whole.
I am not referring here to an eis tzarah, but rather to a very exciting opportunity that affects the Yeshiva Elementary School in Milwaukee. I am thus calling out to Klal Yisroel wherever you are. This will cost you nothing other than a few minutes of your time.
Voting runs through April 30.
There is no limit to the number of times one may vote. Votes can come from all over the world, so please spread the word.
