Fellow Yidden: Cast a Vote for Y.E.S.

rav-michel-twersky-small1Dear Editor,

A local Milwaukee, Wisconsin, bank is giving away up to $30,000. Please read on and respond on behalf of our Yeshiva Elementary School in this contest.

During the famous trial of Mendel Beilis in 1913, Rav Meir Shapiro zt”l submitted a letter to the court in which he explained the famous Chazal of “Atem kruyim adam.” Only Klal Yisroel is referred to by that specific word, meaning man. Rav Meir noted that the Hebrew word adam is the only word for man which has only a singular form even when referring to a plurality of men. The reason for this is that Klal Yisroel is always one, and what affects one individual impacts on the entirety of our nation as a whole.

I am not referring here to an eis tzarah, but rather to a very exciting opportunity that affects the Yeshiva Elementary School in Milwaukee. I am thus calling out to Klal Yisroel wherever you are. This will cost you nothing other than a few minutes of your time.

Please go onlineĀ  here (http://www.wsbonline.com/anniversary/) and vote for Yeshiva Elementary School.

Voting runs through April 30.

There is no limit to the number of times one may vote. Votes can come from all over the world, so please spread the word.

Tizku lemitzvos.

  1. I Can not access the website by going to “http://www.wsbonline.com/anniversary/” –I just get a blue (fading) webpage.

Please inform of what to do.

  2. Chrome does not currently have an add on that will prevent images from loading on select pages. It is possible to block all images under Options/Under the Hood/Content Settings. Then is possible to allow all images for a specific site, but not to allow/disallow specific pages.

Firefox does have an sdd on which will do this.

It may be a good idea to petition Google to have such a capability.
