The State Department says Sen. John Kerry used a private email account to send information now deemed classified to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on her personal server, the AP is reporting.

Spokesman John Kirby said Tuesday that Kerry, then a Democratic senator from Massachusetts, used a “non-official account” to send a May 19, 2011, message to Clinton and then-national security adviser Tom Donilon. Portions of the message were classified as “secret” last week and censored when it was released along with about another 1,000 of Clinton’s emails.

The message in question refers to developments between India, Pakistan and Afghanistan at the time.

  1. The problem doesn’t seem to be Clinton, or Kerry. The problem seems to be that a lot of information that should be classified isn’t. That is the responsibility of the lower level people originating the information.

  4. John Kerry and Hillary Clinton Have gotten away with so much junk if a regular American were to do the slightest thing closest to one of the two days as being irresponsible with classified information they will be put in prison for life

  5. The lower people may be wrong or not changing the email but a person of that Saturn should have more common sense and realize on his own that you don’t send it with a private email and if he doesn’t realize that then he doesn’t blow and having the job!!!!!
