Donald Trump was only kidding about debating Bernie Sanders, sources told CBS News.
As shown in a video previously posted by Matzav.com, the GOP presidential candidate was asked by Jimmy Kimmel if he would consider a debate with the Vermont socialist. “If he paid a sum toward charity, I would love to do that,” Trump said, adding the event “would have such high ratings.” Sanders responded quickly in a late-night tweet: “Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary.”
