Several years, and hundreds of thousands of dollars, after the lakewood based Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce launched its “Parnassah K’Halacha” project – the historic Sefer is on the shelves of your local Seforim store. Sefer Parnassah K’Halacha(distributed by Im Hasefer – Levitz) has editions in both Lashon Kodesh and English, catering to the full spectrum of lomdeiTorah.
The Sefer is a breakthrough in the area of Choshen Mishpat(monetary halacha), which has for long been unfamiliar to all but select talmidei chachamim focused on the topic. The Seferfeatures the simanim in Shulchan Aruch, with clear, easy to understand explanations of each passage, as well as real life examples of where each halacha applies to.
A Machon of talmidei chachamim in the US and Eretz Yisroelwho are uniquely familiar with contemporary monetary halacha painstaking compiled, reviewed and edited the Sefer. The project received enthusiastic support from gedolim includingRav Dov Yoffe zt”l, Mashgiach Kfar Chassidim; Rav Chaim Yisroel Belsky zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva Torah Vodaath; and lbc”l RavZalman Nechemiah Goldberg shlit”a, a preeminent Posek in Eretz Yisroel and R’ Shlomo Amar Shlit”a Rav Haroshi Of Yerushalayim.
“This Sefer is nothing short of revolutionary in every sense of the word,” says Duvi Honig, Founder and CEO of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce. “One cannot go about their daily lives, especially in business, without violating halacha if they don’t know the applicable halachos. Parnassah K’Halachaplaces these halachos within easy reach of every yid.”
Various dedications are still available for both the Lashon Kodesh and English editions, and will appear in future prints. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
