President Trump will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a Tuesday phone call, according to the White House.
Trump’s discussion with Putin is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in the Oval Office, followed by a meeting with national security adviser H.R. McMaster at 5:30 p.m..
The White House added that Trump’s Tuesday would begin with his daily intelligence briefing at 10:30 a.m.
Russia is under intense congressional and media scrutiny following FBI Director James Comey’s announcement in March about his bureau’s activities.
Trump repeatedly praised Putin during his election campaign, adding his administration would improve relations with Russia. Read more at The Hill.
