The 401st Brigade, along with Shayetet 13 special forces, under the command of the IDF and ISA, are currently conducting precise operations within the Shifa hospital premises to combat terrorism. Thus far, 20 terrorists have been neutralized in various encounters, while numerous suspected individuals are undergoing interrogation.
Furthermore, substantial evidence of Hamas’ exploitation of hospitals and civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes has been uncovered. Terror funds earmarked for Hamas operatives, along with a cache of weapons, were discovered within the hospital premises, reaffirming Hamas’ systematic abuse of such facilities.
Overnight Sunday, IDF forces launched a targeted operation in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The operation was initiated based on credible intelligence indicating the involvement of senior Hamas figures in terrorist activities within the hospital compound.
During the operation, Faiq Mabhuoch, the head of Hamas’ Internal Security Operations Directorate, was successfully neutralized by IDF forces.
