31 People Sitting Shivah for Rav Greinemann zt”l

An astounding 31 people are sitting shivah after the petirah last week of Rav Yitzchak Dovid Greinemann zt”l, eldest son of the Rav Chaim Greinemann.

Crowds have flocked to offer their condolences to the children and siblings of the niftar.

Rav Yitzchak Dovid left behind 15 children, plus his wife, and 15 siblings, for a total of 31 people sitting shivah together. This has presented challenges.

Since there is no place for all the aveilim, the sons are sitting shivah in his house on Radak Street in Bnei Brak, joined by some of the siblings, and every day they take turns. The other children are sitting in Rav Chaim Greinemann’s home at 8 Rabi Asi Street in Bnei Brak.
