Israeli police arrested 34 people in Jerusalem protests for public disturbance and assaulting officers Tuesday night.
Thousands of people demonstrated in Jerusalem against the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, from dejected restaurant owners to black flag protesters calling for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s resignation.
Police used water cannons and mounted officers to disperse the crowds, making arrests as protests became violent.
“A handful of demonstrators arrived, apparently with the aim of public disturbance, called the police derogatory names and threw a smoke grenade at them,” a statement released by police said.

With the report of arrests, water cannons, calling names it must have been a charedi protest because the police do not arrest non chareidi protesters and do use cannons and of non Chateu dim never call the police names.
