Supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders staged a walkout on the Democratic National Convention, after Hillary Clinton was named the party’s official nominee Tuesday night.
Sanders backers marched from the convention center, chanting “walk out” and “this is what democracy looks like”. Some staged a silent sit-in in the convention’s media center. Just moments before, Sanders had reiterated his endorsement of Clinton, calling on the party to name her the official nominee. Read more at TWITTER.
