The rabbi missed the Jewish point. Our Rabbis in history have written much about anti-semitisim as being Hashem’s form to speak to the Jewish people through the nations hatred when we don’t listen directly to hashem’s commandments. It is a required process. So instead of pointing the the cause , we focus on the stick (the people used by hashem) hitting us.
Perhaps the message is to leave “America” already. It’s been over 70 years now that G-d miraculously opened the gates to home and his presence in Israel awaiting his children to come back home. But his children prefer to live with strangers ! And that’s is completely ignored. That is the only biggest tragedy here.
