Eric Adams is taking legal action against 17 companies that have assisted Texas Governor Greg Abbott in transporting asylum seekers to the Big Apple.
Adams is hoping the lawsuits bring enough cash to cover the costs of the crisis; “we are suing to recoup approximately 700 million dollars already spent to care for migrants bused here over the l ast two years from the state of Texas.”
“Governor Abbott’s continued use of migrants as political pawns is not only chaotic and inhumane, it makes it clear he put politics over people.”
Adams says the lawsuit will serve as a warning to all who attempt to break the law in this way.

Adams has got some splaining to do. I axed you a question.
Gov Adam’s cares about his constituents. Adam’s doesn’t
This is classic case of shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted. As usual, Adams is a dollar short day late. Millions of illegal bums are already crawling all over our once great City. Now it’s in ruins.
NYC is a sanctuary city and is proud to take all in. Thus the lawsuit and the law they are citing would not make a difference.
