Agudas Yisroel of America has, for the first time, established a blog to post news and updates about the organization.
“So, it’s clear that this blog is all about News at Agudath Israel of America,” writes Leah Zagelbaum, Director of Communications for Agudas Yisroel of America, on the site. “I’ll be posting press releases, pictures and information about Agudah activities. I’m hoping this will be a forum for sharing breaking news, interesting events and important statements.
“Hope you’ll check back often and look forward to your input and interest.”
The blog can be seen here.

This is good news. Now we will have two kosher sites. Matzav and the Agudah blog
If this is true, its a long time in coming. The Agudah has so much to offer and has been grappling with this issue for a very long time.
Great move and I for one am happy to see this development.

So does this mean that internet use is OK now or only for this specific site?
Finally!! A resource to access with correct and up to date positions taken by Agudah.

The Gedolim of pre-war Europe recognized that it was necessary for frum Jews to have newspapers because of the abundance of treif alternatives this is no different. It would be foolish to ignore the realities of communications in our world. Kudos to Agudah. I have heard that they are getting a website this fall as well. IT IS ABOUT TIME.
