President Joe Biden on Thursday responded to questions about being “compromised” by his family’s business deals in China during a press conference about unidentified flying objects and the Chinese spy balloon shot down weeks ago, Breitbart reports.

“Are you compromised by your family’s business relations in China?” a reporter asked.

“Give me a break, man,” Biden said, without denying the question.

The question is the second query Biden has suffered recently about his family’s shady business deals spanning 12 countries over the course of his career as a U.S. official, according to House Republicans. Last week, Joe Biden was asked in a sit-down interview with PBS News about the House Republicans’ investigations into his family’s business schemes. Biden replied, “The public isn’t going to pay attention” to the nine GOP probes into his family, such as money laundering, wire fraud, and tax evasion.

  1. Hey Mr. Prez, we want to give you a huge break – a brake on the job! In fact, prepare for your break beginning January 20, 2024, at 11:59! You should enjoy your life with Jill. If you want we’ll even rename the coffee cookies to Joe & Jill. Just give us a break and go back to Delaware.

  2. Only a blithering idiot would ask such a question. Biden himself has no business interests anywhere. And he has been shooting down Chinese balloons.

The Trump family and even Trump himself has business interests in China and Saudi Arabia; Trump is the one who let Chinese balloons fly freely over the US. It is Trump who is compromised, not Biden.

Ivanka got multiple trademarks approved in China once she got a “job” in her father’s Administration. This while Trump was having a trade war that damaged every other American business active in China.

    • 1. Shooting down?? Only after watching it spy on Hawaii, Alaska, and many sensitive sights on the continent! I would not consider that standing up to China, and neither should you.
      2. You say Biden himself has no business interests anywhere, but then in the next two paragraphs you point to Trump family business. Make up your mind. (I know you point to Trump himself as well, I want to know if you consider family business irrelevant, why bring it up in the context of Trump?)
      3. How is Trump relevant to the discussion? The question was posed to Biden, about Biden. Address this concern instead of one-upping Trump.
      4. ‘No business interests’ that you admit to does not necessarily mean ‘no business interests.’ In 2018, a convicted Chinese citizen named Patrick Ho paid $1 million to Hunter Biden for unidentified legal services, and Hunter called Ho the “spy chief of China.” Ho was the head of CEFC Energy, which had a joint venture with Hunter. An email on Hunter’s laptop proposes giving 10% of this venture to “the big guy,” and a partner in the venture has verified that this “big guy” is “Joe Biden.” So, he did have business interests in China. And while 100k is not very significant, it is noteable that a man with ‘no business interests anywhere’ made 12+ million dollars in the 4 years he was out of office.
Interestingly, when Patrick Ho was arrested in 2017, the first call he made was to James Biden, brother of the former VP. Very interesting.
      5. In 2019 Joe Biden said publicly: “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man!” He has since admitted that they might just eat our lunch. This was obvious to anyone paying attention for over a decade. In 2019, either Biden was completely and dangerously clueless, or knowingly lied. Compromised would be a plausible explanation.
