Sephardic chief rabbi of Israel Rav Yitzchok Yosef issued a rare public statement, calling on people with firearm licenses to carry their weapons in shuls following last night’s deadly Palestinian terror attack in Elad.

“Due to the tense security situation, those with a license to carry a weapon…should bring it to shul and help keep the public safe,” he said.
