It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Dr. Oscar A. Novick z”l. He was 89 years old.
Dr. Novick was a renowned pediatrician who practiced for over 50 years in the Chicagol area.
Dr. Novick was a beloved doctor for many of Chicago’s yeshiva families and was a dedicated physician to so many of the Telshe Yeshiva bochurim throughout the years.
Dr. Novick is survived by his wife Bernice (nee Lukinsky) and his children, Margaret Matanky, Sharon Rush, Bonnie Rosen and Sam Novick, and his 21 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
The levayah will be held in a private ceremony in Chicago on Motzo’ei Shabbos. The aron will then be flown to Eretz Yisroel for kevurah on Monday morning in the Eretz HaChaim cemetery in Beit Shemesh.
