United Torah Judaism has issued a stark ultimatum, declaring its potential withdrawal from the government in response to the looming enactment of a Draft Law containing provisions for penalties and quotas.

Insiders privy to the discussions surrounding the Draft Law disclosed that United Torah Judaism has wielded the threat of secession, adamantly pushing for the elimination of punitive measures and prescribed quotas.

Scheduled deliberations on the Draft Law slated for today have been deferred to a later date owing to unresolved disparities and the absence of consensus among the ministers.

With the deadline for law submission looming tomorrow, the state finds itself compelled to furnish a rejoinder to the High Court of Justice in light of petitions lodged on the matter.

Recent reports suggest that circles within Netanyahu’s camp are contemplating a plea to the High Court for an extension of several days, envisaging an imperative for governmental concurrence to be reached.
