A suspicious powder was sent to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in Lower Manhattan on Friday, court officials said, the NY Post reports. The powder was found in an envelope — marked “Alvin” — delivered by the US Postal Service to the mailroom at 80 Centre St., court officials confirmed.

NYPD officers were on the scene just after noon, and no injuries were reported, the official said. The powder was deemed not hazardous about three hours later, according to the official. The DA has informed the office that it was immediately contained and that the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection determined there was no dangerous substance, a DA spokesperson said.

The potentially harmful piece of mail comes as DA Alvin Bragg’s office has been presenting its case to a grand jury to possibly indict former President Donald Trump.
