During a groundbreaking House Oversight subcommittee hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), a former Air Force officer and intelligence official, David Grusch, made stunning revelations. Grusch, who was a national reconnaissance officer representative for the Pentagon’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force, claimed that the government is concealing captured UFOs. When asked if the government has possession of such vehicles, Grusch emphatically replied, “Absolutely.”
He further disclosed that he had personally interviewed over 40 witnesses over four years and knew the exact locations where these UFOs were being kept, information he had provided to the inspector general. Grusch asserted that some of the artifacts included “non-human spacecraft,” making it one of the first times that a witness testified under oath to Congress about the potential existence of extraterrestrial life.
However, when pressed on whether anyone had been killed in relation to the UAPs, Grusch exercised caution and indicated that he could potentially reveal more in a classified setting. He did, however, mention having “personal knowledge of people who’ve been harmed or injured in efforts to cover up or conceal these extraterrestrial technology.”
Grusch’s testimony sparked further criticism of the government’s lack of transparency on the UAP issue. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) alleged that the Pentagon prevented the panel from obtaining full information on the phenomena, even denying them access to a classified briefing.
The hearing also revealed the frustrations faced by Congress in their attempts to investigate the matter. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) expressed his dissatisfaction with the lack of government transparency and called for a more open discussion on the topic. He stated that members of Congress had even confided in him about their own UFO sightings.
