“May God help me be a messenger on behalf of the Jewish community in New York and protect them from all evil and hate,” Hochul wrote in a note she placed in the grave after a brief prayer. “ May God bless us with peace and unity and may He protect our first responders and the people of New York State.”
The Ohel has become a pilgrimage site for tens of thousands annually since 1994.
Hochul was accompanied by Devorah Halberstam, a Crown Heights community activist and co-founder of the Jewish Children’s Museum. The governor visited the gravesite of her son, Ari Halberstam, who was murdered in a terrorist attack on the Brooklyn Bridge in 1994.
Hochul said she was very honored to visit the grave of the Grand Rabbi and “to ask for guidance” as she runs for reelection for a full four-year term in the Nov. 8 elections.
“I continue to fight for the Jewish people and keep them safe,” the governor added, “and also to honor the great traditions and forms of education in everything we do in government.”
Recent polls show Hochul, who was sworn in as governor last August, with a six-point lead over her Republican rival, Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican nominee.
Early voting started on October 26. Election Day is on November 8.
The democrats are doing whatever they can to win the Jewish vote except for legislating towards the Jewish people’s interest. Soon Hochul will wear a tichel and stand for a photo to get votes.

That she openly says she believes in Hashem and prays to Hashem is certainly extremely good. At the same time though, Hashem is strongly AGAINST Toeiva — ALL forms of Toeiva. Hashem is also strongly against abortion; we ourselves just saw it in last week’s Parsha HaShavua! As a good servant of Hashem, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, ZT’L, of course, well TAUGHT these portions of our Torah that declare how very terrible Toeiva and abortion are. Furthermore, in public speeches and in public publications, he often strongly spoke out against Toeiva and the political efforts for Toeiva so-called “rights.”
Yet this wicked Mrs. Hochel is strongly promoting THE VERY WORST FORMS of Toeiva and is strongly promoting abortion with strongly promising the fullest assistance to getting one. It may be very nice that she is paying respects at the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, but very many of her evil policies and actions of her government are THE EXACT OPPOSITE of a large part of what this wonderful loyal servant of Hashem stood for.

While Mrs. Hochul says here that she wants to keep us all “safe,” her Department of Health has set forth new rules that will, Chas V’Shalom, make us all very much excessively UN-safe. For these new rules declare that any person whom someone else merely thinks that he might be sick — now, he is NOT actually sick, but this someone else THINKS, this someone else SUSPECTS, that MAYBE he MIGHT BE carrying some kind of “bad germ” — this someone else can call the police to report him. Again, there is NO proof here of anyone being sick, and NO ONE here is actually sick. But just by this SUSPICION that this someone else told the police about him, the police will come, arrest this person, TAKE HIM BY FORCE OUT OF HIS HOME to an isolation center and hold him by force at the isolation center for as long as they want!!

Now, since to get the person arrested, all this someone else has to do is to tell the police that he THINKS that the person MIGHT BE sick, it is obvious that it is extremely easy for this Mr. Someone Else to think about Mr. Person NOTHING about any illness. Instead, Mr. Someone Else can “think” about Mr. Person almost anything he wants! For example, he can think about Mr. Person how he heard him say a certain POLITICAL remark about it being terrible that the government promotes Toveia. As Mr. Someone Else is a devout worshiper of king Biden and king Biden’s proclamation that anyone from the “religious right” is a “domestic terrorist,” he happily goes to the police to have this Bible-thumping-religious-right-domestic-terrorist-Mr-Person turned in.
At the police station, Mr. Someone Else does not need to get into a whole discussion about the political-Toeiva-thingy with the reporting secretary. As he will not be asked to show any proof, all he needs to tell tell her is that “he thinks” that “maybe” Mr. Person is ill! Then, as related above, on this mere suspicion, Chas V’Shalom, Mr. Person will be incarcerated, and the evil New World Order will have had another Bible-thumping-religious-right-domestic-terrorist — which could EASILY BE anyone of us who proudly holds the Torah in our arms — put away for a long, long time.
Now, Boruch Hashem, a New York State Judge did knock down these new rules, saying that they are invalid. However, Mrs. Hochul and her wicked Department of Health crew do not care what this judge says and are thus appealing his decision. It is obvious that if, Chas V’Shalom, she remains in power, she and her crew will, Chas V’Shalom, find some way to get these rules to be considered “valid” and have them enshrined into the laws & policies of New York State.
